Vaccinated guests are welcome to enjoy the Boardwalk and all related attractions without wearing a mask. ![]() Per California face mask guidelines, the Boardwalk recommends all unvaccinated guests age 2 and older wear face masks at all times when visiting the Boardwalk and all related attractions except when actively eating and drinking. Last weekend ride reservations sold out in advance. The Boardwalk is admission free, but rides and activities require tickets including the Giant Dipper at $7 per ride. The Boardwalk says, “a minimum of 20 rides will be open, weather permitting.” Please note that not all rides are operating. was dismantled in 1958 because the park had hired John Allen to build them a new coaster. ![]() The classic seaside amusement park features more than 40 rides and attractions including two National Historic Landmarks: the world-famous 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster and the beautiful 1911 Looff Carousel, plus many scream-inducing thrill rides, gentle kiddie rides, casual restaurants, gift shops, games, indoor arcades, and miniature golf.
